Archives/Archivos I try to pattern my life after the Apostle Paul. He himself said that Christ had made him “a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him (Jesus) to life everlasting”. I’ve been asked to return to a place that I felt was the closest thing to hell on earth. It’s called Auschwitz. Give your life to Jesus Christ and you’ll recognize in a hurry that there is a war going on for control of your life. That war is between God and a very real and subtle devil. That is why it is so awesome to get filled with the Holy Spirit so that we can recognize the signs and sounds of the battle and choose Jesus every time. God is always doing so many wonderful things that I want to share them with you in smaller bites.
The threats are real. Islamic terrorists are on the march with hate in their hearts. And Israel and the USA? We are the twin targets for those who wish to conquer the world.What should the followers of Jesus do? Our orders are clear and unchanged—GO INTO ALL THE WORLD and preach the good news to all. Two spirits want to control your life—the Holy Spirit and the evil spirit called Satan. Two roads call for your attention—one narrow that leads to life and the other wide that leads to death. You make the choice as to which way you will travel... Israel’s ancient King Saul leaves a powerful lesson for Christians today. It is so easy to grow lukewarm and take God’s compassion, care and call for granted. Don’t do it! King Saul is a great example of how growing careless with God only leads to sadness and destruction... To Israel’s enemies, God offers a challenge. What could be more precarious than a peanut-sized nation surviving in an Islamic world sworn to swallow the peanut? Yet God says that only if puny men can cancel moon, stars and ocean waves will Israel cease to exist. A God guarantee! We have an important warning from the Lord to His true disciples. We saw the blessing of God on a young man who started out humble and transparent. But then came success—and pride—and the fall! |
