Archives/Archivos Keep praying for each one and watch for the Holy Spirit’s moment to urge them to choose Jesus. It may be the last chance they get. Your Creator God made you to live in His companionship and in His loving care. His Spirit is meant to carry your spirit through the toughest of times. How sad when you try to do it alone. Even I, Grief, feel grieved over that. That’s what happens when you call out to Christ. Worries become non-existent, or else manageable, as God reveals His love, step by step, day by day.
You can’t avoid pain, my friend. Neither could God the Father and Jesus Christ. That’s because they had you in mind—and your sins that made you blind. God’s love was more than talk.... “What must I do to be saved?” echoes down through two millennia to you and me. It really is life’s most important question. No matter what your present life is like.... Does life have a purpose? Jesus had heard enough. He knew He had all their attention and that it was the perfect time to ask the most probing question of all. If there was no life after death, none of us would ever think about it, much less worry about it. But God programmed eternity into the brain and heart of man. We don’t want to die. We really want to live forever. And we shall. The old classical physics has surrendered to the new quantum physics, and the fragile house of atheism has been coming apart... Israel’s truest friends are Bible believing Christians—whom most Jewish leaders refuse to trust because of our insistence that while our love for them is unconditional, so is our conviction that Jesus the Messiah will prove to be the hope of Israel. |
