Archives/Archivos There will be times the Lord will call you to a difficult task. Whatever it is, never turn back from what you know to be His will. Let Jesus awaken you morning by morning and offer Him your spiritual ears to hear what He has to say. He will then give you an ear to hear the sigh of the weary and worn, and a tongue that will give the words that refresh. People need authentic examples, not merely great advice. By God’s grace and the Holy Spirit’s power, that has been, and is, our aim. God's promise to Israel is not only an absolute guarantee but is broad enough to take in you and me. Of course God cares about our physical needs and delights in teaching us ways to profit materially. But even that is to give us the means to bless others through greater generosity rather than build bigger barns only for ourselves. I wanted you to know there’s more than the action through “Frank and Team.” There is a special lady—my Norma—who has stood at my side through “many dangers, toils and snares.” God’s plan goes on for her—for me—for Shalom—to introduce to the world the unconditional love of God by fleshing out to the world the unconditional love of Jesus. Let's be more than "retarded" to the youngest generation. Let's be their examples of how great God is, not how good our golf game is. Today's world is like yesterday's - corrupt and filled with the chorus of "Every person to his/her own god, own choice, own life-style." That's why we who know the Lord will not be popular and must be prepared to suffer when we declare: "There is only one God, one Savior and one way. The answer is not in Buddha, Confucius, Mohammed or any other man or supposed deity. Thus saith the Lord!" We spoke out against anti-Semitism and hatred against Israel. I led in the fight that called for strong action—not merely supportive words. Many Jews, weary of hate and centuries of “Christian anti-Semitism” applauded. But I was warned not to have visible fellowship with Messianic Jews or the Jewish leadership would reject me. We all have burdens we carry for loved ones - sometimes so excruciating that we feel our hearts will break. This is especially true of Christian parents trying their best to live lives pleasing to the Savior even while one or more of their children decide they'd rather have "sin country." |
