November 2009

Dear fellow-soldier,

We're back where we began plowing over 30 years ago.

After some 20 years in global missions, Norma and I left California in 1979 to pioneer Shalom International on the East Coast.
Encountering anti-Semitism and hatred against Israel, we took a stand against the bad guys and built bridges of Gods unconditional love to the Jews.
The first "Task Force Against Anti-Semitism" was launched, and word quickly spread that this was a Christianity that backs up words with action-God's love with sleeves rolled up.
Journeys were made to Israel, including meetings with Prime Minters, present and future, and other leaders who appreciated our unconditional love and support.
After nearly 9 years, we headed back West to carry on the same battle in Southern California. We not only taught Christians to be genuine and bold in witnessing to Jew and Gentile, but to also be at their side when needed, Even if our testimony for Christ was rejected.
Now, after 22 years back West, we have returned to New England for "unfinished business". Many Christians need to be discipled. Lonely and struggling pastors, especially younger ones, need encouragement and mentoring. We believe God wants a spiritual revoultion in New England that can impact America and the world. And that is why we are here and hard at work.
The doors are opening rapidly, including an expanded a worldwide internet teaching opportunity to reach some 3,000,000 more Christian's worldwide. That's three million!

In the new year, Christopher Lucey and I plan to share some of the incredible new plans that God is giving to help hasten the return of the Lord (see 2 Peter 3:12). This Thanksgiving season, will you stand with us through your prayers and financial support? Together, we will see more of the "greater things" that Jesus promised as we walk in obedience to His Spirit and Word.

Now the fear is that nuclear weapons are being placed in the hands of madmen who wish to annihilate their enemies.

God has blessed man with incredible genius. We stand in awe as we watch men and women in a room full of computers and high-tech instruments guiding and landing spacecraft on distant planets. At that moment, we appear invincible. But then a mammoth tornado comes—or a terrifying hurricane—or rains that flood whole regions and never listen to our shouts to “Stop!”—or the shake that removes from under our feet any confidence or pride we carry, and leaves us numb with hardly enough breath to even utter the paralyzing word “EARTHQUAKE!”. And man is helpless in the face of it all!
