The Action Report January 2010 God bless you dear friend, For people who have not seen the largeness and greatness of the Lion of Judah, FEAR RULES THE WORLD. But for those who see the Real Jesus, high and lifted up and propelling the universe by His awesome power, HE RULES THE WORLD. Do you hunger and thirst to see our God do what He did for the early church? To see believers under His control and filled with supernatural boldness? To see Christians so possessed by Holy Spirit character that those who don't know Jesus are stopped in their tracks and cry "What must I do to be saved?!"? Stand with me this year of 2010. Everywhere we preach or teach-here in the USA or far across the earth-we shall ask the Holy Spirit to kill the "me, myself and I" and turn loose the power of Pentecost. Vice President Chris Lucey and wife Leslie will be taking the gospel to Africa this month. I'm scheduled for outreach across the globe beginning in March. And Norma and I have been challenged by the "watchman" scriptures (Ezekiel chapter 3) for fresh action in Israel. At home, the West Coast team teaches others to reach still others. In the East, discipling has begun with best friend Bob Hakala, his flock and others. I'm also mentoring a growing number of leaders who are becoming aware that there is a "R-U-L-E" to have a lasting revival: R-epent and let Jesus cleanse our hearts.
U-nify the body of Christ and cease being our own little kingdoms.
L-ove each other and feel each other's pains and burdens.
E-ncourage each other by being a strength to the weak and discouraged and let others strengthen us where we are weak. Last, there is our expanded Internet School of Leadership where many thousands learn how to win the lost and nurture disciples. May God work in us in 2010 as He has never done before. Pray for us. After all, look what man himself is capable of doing with the atom and hydrogen bombs. Now
the fear is that nuclear weapons are being placed in the hands of madmen who wish to annihilate
their enemies. God has blessed man with incredible genius. We stand in awe as we watch men and women in a room full of computers and high-tech instruments guiding and landing spacecraft on distant planets. At that moment, we appear invincible. But then a mammoth tornado comes—or a terrifying hurricane—or rains that flood whole regions and never listen to our shouts to “Stop!”—or the shake that removes from under our feet any confidence or pride we carry, and leaves us numb with hardly enough breath to even utter the paralyzing word “EARTHQUAKE!”. And man is helpless in the face of it all! |
