BOOK OF JEREMIAH (PART 1)
LESSON 71 Part 1
INTRODUCTION
I love the book of Jeremiah. God gave this prophet of tears
a beautiful heart and the most difficult of assignments. The nation of Israel,
like America today, had fallen into open sin and rebellion against God.
Jeremiah's task was to call them to repentance or else they would face the
terrible wrath and judgment of the Creator. Sadly, they mocked the prophet and
paid the price.
You will gain many lessons of life in this book of 52
chapters. You will also find incredible promises made to the obedient.
