Contreras) GANADORES Y PERDEDORES (LIBROS DE OBDÍAS, JONÁS, MIQUEAS) LECCIÓN 78 INTRODUCCIÓN Sólo algunas lecciones más y completaremos nuestro estudio del Antiguo Testamento de ganadores y perdedores. ¿Que tan importantes son las Escrituras Hebreas- a las que llamamos el "Antiguo Testamento"? ¡Más importante! Cuando Jesús y los apóstoles hablaron de varias escrituras, ellos se referían a los primero 39 libros de la Biblia. A los Cristianos se les advirtió por el Espíritu Santo a que aprendieran de los ejemplos del Antiguo Testamento, de los que salieron victoriosos en Dios y los que fueron derrotados por Satanás- ganadores y perdedores. Ahora seguimos viendo esos ejemplos en tres libros mas de los Profetas Menores- Abdías, Jonás y Miqueas. ABDÍAS 1:1-3, 10-18 Ejemplo del juicio de Dios contra las naciones que hacen o animan el
mal que es hecho contra los Judíos. Siglos de la historia de la humanidad
comprueban de que esta profecía es verdad - incluyendo a los Nazis y la Unión
Soviética en los tiempos modernos. JONÁS 1:1-3, 8-10, 16 Ejemplo de huir del llamado de Dios. 1:17-2:3,
7, 10 Ejemplo de una terquedad extrema que se rompe. OBEDIENCIA MALDISPUESTA 3:1, 2 Ejemplo de obediencia maldispuesta. (Es mejor decir, "Sí Señor" cuando Dios habla). 4:1-3 Ejemplo de un siervo de Dios que tontamente piensa que sabe más que su Maestro. MIQUEAS 2:1-3, 11, 13 Ejemplo de la hipocresía religiosa. 3:2, 5 , 7, 11, 12 Ejemplo del costo de la hipocresía de líderes religiosos- pérdida de una nación. 7:2-10, 13, 18-20 Ejemplo de la infidelidad absoluta del hombre contra la total fidelidad de Dios. Now God’s description of how He will destroy the old earth and create a
new one makes perfect sense. The splitting of the atom turned many skeptics into believers.
After all, look what man himself is capable of doing with the atom and hydrogen bombs. Now
the fear is that nuclear weapons are being placed in the hands of madmen who wish to annihilate
their enemies. God has blessed man with incredible genius. We stand in awe as we watch men and women in a room full of computers and high-tech instruments guiding and landing spacecraft on distant planets. At that moment, we appear invincible. But then a mammoth tornado comes—or a terrifying hurricane—or rains that flood whole regions and never listen to our shouts to “Stop!”—or the shake that removes from under our feet any confidence or pride we carry, and leaves us numb with hardly enough breath to even utter the paralyzing word “EARTHQUAKE!”. And man is helpless in the face of it all! |
