The Action Report Internet TV - "greater works than these"? By Frank Eiklor and the Shalom Team “The time is now!” I sensed the Holy Spirit was pressing me on one of our walks where it’s just God and me alone. Past years of impact have come from my journeys across America, Israel and the world. From one on one and small audiences, to preaching to the masses, it was always “go into all the world.” But that recent nudge I felt, “The time is now!", was about something fresh—a door of infinite possibilities. The world is joined to the Internet. Those who know how to use that tool have the world coming to them. Remember when Jesus told the disciples that His followers would do greater works than He did? Greater works? Of course! When Jesus was here, He was in one place at one time. Not any more. After the resurrection and sending the Holy Spirit, Christ is in millions of us at the same time—working His works—around the planet. Greater works, indeed! I believe that same principle can work with this simple man. God has been faithful to teach me truths over many years.
Truth from His Word that can shake the world and wake the Church.
I have a fire to get His Word out farther—faster. Of course, we have a website. And we make a fair internet impact teaching some 70,000 disciples twice monthly in many countries. But we’re not scratching the surface when it comes to literally impacting our world. I have a warrior’s experience of past years on radio and television. Preaching, teaching and discipling. Journeys to over 100 countries in times of peace and war (like some 20 times to Israel). Usually one place at one time during the past 15 years. But with the world a ticking time bomb—Israel threatened with nuclear annihilation—and the prophetic time clock nearing midnight, it’s time to be many places at one time. Internet television is here to stay. It’s much less expensive than traditional radio and TV—and it reaches the world. I have the burning heart and message, but not the technical smarts. That’s where my colleague of 25 years, Jim Durbin, comes in. He takes over to produce Holy Spirit anointed messages offered to the saved and the seeking via an internet channel beamed into over 140 countries! Israel! The Muslim world! The Persecuted Church! What potential! I need—really need—your prayers.
Pray for Holy Spirit guidance. Pray for others to get excited with me over the incredible possibilities that are before us. Pray for the funds we will need to carry out God’s plan to preach Jesus boldly and teach in His power.

After all, look what man himself is capable of doing with the atom and hydrogen bombs. Now
the fear is that nuclear weapons are being placed in the hands of madmen who wish to annihilate
their enemies. God has blessed man with incredible genius. We stand in awe as we watch men and women in a room full of computers and high-tech instruments guiding and landing spacecraft on distant planets. At that moment, we appear invincible. But then a mammoth tornado comes—or a terrifying hurricane—or rains that flood whole regions and never listen to our shouts to “Stop!”—or the shake that removes from under our feet any confidence or pride we carry, and leaves us numb with hardly enough breath to even utter the paralyzing word “EARTHQUAKE!”. And man is helpless in the face of it all! |
