"Where is God when we need Him?"
By Frank Eiklor and the Shalom Team
It was a terrible East Coast winter storm and planes were stranded on the tarmac. Passengers on one plane sat captive for eight hours when a young boy was overheard saying to his father, “Where is God when we need Him?” Being just a lad, he figured God did not always know what was going on in His world. You and I know better.
See with God’s eyes and you’ll discover He is bringing His plan to pass
in the world—and your life.
Take Iran. Syria. Egypt. Africa. The world only sees Islam winning everywhere. That’s an illusion. Jesus is on the move. One Iranian Christian, who was tortured almost to death, came to America and now plans to go back to Iran. When asked why he would return to a possible death sentence, he said, “I fear no man.” He was not trying to be macho by saying “Bring it!” His eyes were open to the bigness of God and the Savior’s love for lost souls. That is why he feared no man. And that is why a spiritual explosion is occurring in Iran where Christ is appearing to many thousands of Persians.
Having seen the false only makes them more thirsty for the truth.
And Syria? Years ago, I witnessed boldly from Beirut to Damascus to Jerusalem. There was spiritual hunger everywhere. Today, in the midst of war, there is a desperate search for meaning to life. For sins to be forgiven and cleansed. For eternal life after this world of suffering and death.
I see these faces as I look into the camera and tell the GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD each week on internet television. I still find it hard to grasp—we’re reaching out to over 150 countries! Especially in the volatile Islamic countries and Israel.
You can’t stop the Holy Spirit at man-made borders.
“Where is God when we need Him?” He’s here! Now! Using satellites in the heavens to bring heaven’s message to earth. And how I praise Him for using "MORE THAN TALK” as part of His plan.
Your prayers and financial backing make it happen. And may God multiply all you do right back to you.
Your help will be so appreciated!
