The Action Report
Calling Disciples - A Call to Stand, Confront, and Fear God
By Frank Eiklor

It seemed like only a tree was not afraid to give the little girl its support. I wanted to cry. Little Mercy, 9 years old, had just lost her mother who died of Ebola in Liberia. There she was, in a torn nightgown and flip-flops, leaning against the tree. Crying. Alone!

The story reported, “As 9-year-old Mercy Kennedy sobbed along with neighbors mourning news of her mother’s death, not a person would touch the little girl to comfort her.”

I sensed this was another “God moment” in my life.

First came a stab of fear and the honest question: “What would I do if I were present with Mercy? Would I abandon her—or let her cry alone—hoping someone else would come to help?”

Then I sensed that inner voice—the presence of the Lord. And the answer was final. “You know exactly what you would do. You would do as I order you to do. You would not let her be alone. You would live out the love of Jesus. You would show mercy to little Mercy.”

God’s peace was so real.

I was reminded that one who tries to save his life loses it. That He is able to keep those who hurt and those who help from death. Or let them die together and take them to be with Him.

It all brought me back to other crisis moments in my life. Jews were being attacked and anti-Semites’ were strong and threatening.

God told me “You will stand with them, no matter the cost.”

Israel was the target of vicious lies. God told me, “You will confront those lies and the liars who spread them.” When letters of hate and swastikas were aimed our way, God simply ordered, “Carry on. Fear Me, not them!”

So we did! So we do!

What else can one do when under orders from the living God and the Savior of the world?! That is why we need prayer that our reaching out to the whole world will bear fruit. That more disciples will not count our lives as dear to ourselves but offer them to Christ alone.

ŸHatred of Jews spreads again in Germany. ŸIsrael is being isolated by those who are filled with devils. ŸPeople in Africa are dying of Ebola. ŸImmoral living in America and Europe is the new norm. Ÿ Bible believing Christians are hated—yes, hated!

May the Spirit of God use this work to tear down Satan’s walls and build bridges of God’s love.

Time is short! I welcome your help. We really need you!

“Keep your sense of urgency” (2 Timothy 4:2 Amplified)

That's 75,000 believers challenged to live as warriors for Jesus. To disregard obstacles and to only see opportunities to make Him known. To say "YES!" to Jesus and "NO" to self and greed. In this fark and frightened world, 75,000 warriors can do a whole lot of shaking!
