Reaching the Unreachable

The frightened woman had been forced out of town by the man whose child she bore.

That man already had a wife and son. Terribly alone in desert-like surroundings, the woman and her son soon ran out of water. She looked around. They were lost with no one in sight and dying of thirst.

Not wanting to see her boy die, she placed him in the shade of a desert shrub and wandered off before sitting down and weeping uncontrollably. Then a miracle that defies words happened. A powerful stranger appeared out of nowhere with water and a promise that he would see that they had a new home, new hope and a new future.

It wasn’t a dream. Or a mirage. It really happened!

Recognize the story? Of course you do. Abraham, Sarah, Isaac. Hagar, Ishmael—and GOD! And that true story is what the Lord used to break my heart not only for the Jews but also for the Arabs. And why I prepare messages through Internet video that tell of the Savior’s love to Israel and her neighbors and that penetrate borders.

After all, how can you stop the Holy Spirit who moves where He chooses?!

Today you only hear the bad stuff about ISIS beheadings, Muslim suicide attacks and terrorists killing Jews in Israel. That is earthly news. Heaven’s news is better.

“No Christians can speak in our country” say Islamic leaders. Tell that to the Holy Spirit as He gives dreams and visions of Isa—Jesus—to hungry Muslims.
“We have the only true religion of Allah” is seen as a lie as Arabs witness Muslim against Muslim warfare.
And Jesus has His children in the refugee camps who touch the suffering masses with hands of love in the medical clinics and lovingly share the Word of God.

I have loved people face to face in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Egypt.

Those who love Jesus loved me back. Those who did not know Him drank in my testimony with wide eyes and hungry hearts. That was then. Today we have a greater reach—internet videos carried on HisChannel, YouTube and our own website. Jesus Christ is revealing Himself to the Muslim world. And we are in on it! God has blessed man with incredible genius. We stand in awe as we watch men and women in a room full of computers and high-tech instruments guiding and landing spacecraft on distant planets. At that moment, we appear invincible. But then a mammoth tornado comes—or a terrifying hurricane—or rains that flood whole regions and never listen to our shouts to “Stop!”—or the shake that removes from under our feet any confidence or pride we carry, and leaves us numb with hardly enough breath to even utter the paralyzing word “EARTHQUAKE!”. And man is helpless in the face of it all!
