One side called me a “deceiver.” The other side called me a “national treasure.” The Jewish camp was divided over Christian support. It’s still like that.

Certain religious leaders said, “He’s a ‘Trojan horse’ hiding his true intent. He defends us from hatred so that we will accept Jesus.” Other Jews who knew me, answered the charge: “So what?! Eikor doesn’t hide his love for Jesus. He wants everyone to believe in Jesus, but he fights for us whether or not we agree with his theology. That’s unconditional love! What more do you want? In leading the fight against those who hate us, Frank is a national treasure. We Jews need all the friends we can get. Don’t throw him away!”

The lines were drawn.

They always are—over Jesus. When He walked among us, His opponents said that if they left Jesus alone, the whole world would go after Him. How true! It’s the same today. Live like—and love like the Lord and others will want Him. Especially the youth, who are searching for truth and purpose.

My religious opponents got their way through fear tactics.

Invitations to Jewish events ceased and I was made to know “We will accept you when you say that Jesus is not for Jews.” So what have we said—and done—in response? We have never ceased to declare the risen Messiah as Israel’s and the Gentile world’s only hope of salvation.

At that issue, no compromise.

And we have taught countless Christians to stand against hatred aimed at Israel and the Jews—but not expect any popularity award.

Unconditional love! On that issue, no change. Is that your heart, too? I know it is!

I’m calling for Christians worldwide to stand against anti-Semitism. Israel will not perish. Jews have a Romans chapter 11 destiny. His name is Yeshua. Let’s hasten the day!
