Lesson 183 - IF YOU LOVE JESUS, YOU'RE HIS AMBASSADOR! (PART 3)
By Frank Eiklor and the Shalom Team

There is a great hymn tha says, "Oh for a thousand tingues to sin my great Redeemer's praise... "

We don't each have one thousand tongues. We have one. And we have the privilege of using our tongues to tell others about the love of Jesus. I will tell you more ways to share the Lord in future lessons. Right now, we are looking at scriptures throughout each book of the New Testament that have a relationship to Jesus' Great Commission to go into all the world and share the good news with every person.

If we truly know and love our Lord, we will be proud to share His love with family, friends and others we meet throughout life.

Here is the conclusion of this lesson. Review the last two, and don't forget to look up each of the verses in your Bible. And let me know by email any fresh discovery God may give you.

Hebrews 13:13-14 Go with God's sense of eternal values ("for here we have no continuing city, but we seek one to come")
James 5:19-20 Go knowing what happens if you don't go ("he who turns a sinner...will save a soul from death")
1 Peter 3:15 Go with a sanctified heart and a prepared mind ("be ready always to give an answer to every man")
2 Peter 3:12 Go to hasten His coming ("Looking for and hasting...the coming of the day of God")
1 John 1:5 Go with an uncompromising message ("God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all")
1 John 5:13 Go with assurance of your message ("that you may know that you have eternal life")
2 John 2  Go with confidence that you hold in your heart (Jesus) and your hands (the Bible) the truth that can transcend the life of any innocent seeker ("because of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever")

3 John 2 Go with the reality of the new life that can await those you win to Christ. ("I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers")
Jude 22, 23 Go with a hatred of sin ("hating even the garment defiled by the flesh”)
Revelation 22:17 Go carrying the Holy Spirit's message to every heart ("the Spirit and the bride say, Come...Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely”)

Jesus said many would come in His name and deceive the hearts of the simple, sinful and proud. Eastern mysticism and meditation is a big thing in the gullible West. And one day a “world leader” will appear on the scene with the persuasion of a god and the heart of a devil. Jesus warns His children to know the Scriptures, live in obedience to the Father’s will, and stay alert to the signs of the times.
They laugh no more. Now God’s description of how He will destroy the old earth and create a new one makes perfect sense. The splitting of the atom turned many skeptics into believers. After all, look what man himself is capable of doing with the atom and hydrogen bombs. Now the fear is that nuclear weapons are being placed in the hands of madmen who wish to annihilate their enemies.
God has blessed man with incredible genius. We stand in awe as we watch men and women in a room full of computers and high-tech instruments guiding and landing spacecraft on distant planets. At that moment, we appear invincible. But then a mammoth tornado comes—or a terrifying hurricane—or rains that flood whole regions and never listen to our shouts to “Stop!”—or the shake that removes from under our feet any confidence or pride we carry, and leaves us numb with hardly enough breath to even utter the paralyzing word “EARTHQUAKE!”. And man is helpless in the face of it all!
