My dear friend,

"You are looking at the problem!"         

Those are frightening words when spoken to a man looking into a mirror. I know. I was that man—almost 40 years ago. The big news was that Jews were being whacked again. This time it was a synagogue that was partially destroyed by haters. And people were asking: “How could this be happening here in America?”

At the same time, a land filled with mostly Jews was feeling mighty lonely. Yassir Arafat’s PLO and other enemies were picking their moments to pick off defenseless Jews one by one or in clumps. And many Israelis were asking,

“Does anybody care!”

And that’s how I entered what would become my personal war in God’s ongoing history of Israel and the Jews. For as I saw and read the news of Jews and Israel being attacked, I also was asking, “How can this be happening here in America?” The answer came in my mirror experience when the Spirit of God stabbed me with the terrible impression:

“You are looking at the problem.”

 I needed no interpretation. I knew what God meant—and He might as well have spoken out loud. “You will never tell the Jews again that My Son Jesus loves them without also standing at their side and defending them from those who hate.”

Soon after, we launched what some said was the first “Christian Task Force Against Anti-Semitism” in the country with the help of great and caring believers. Unconditional love was the foundation. But I never placed my Lord and Savior behind a veil, though Jewish leaders wished I would. I said:

“We will love, support and stand at your side whether or not you believe as we do.

But Jesus Christ—Yeshuah—is my Savior and the Messiah whose orders to care I am obeying.”

In the years that followed, Jews called me “national treasure,” “champion,” “soul-snatcher,” “dangerous,” etc. But they never called me “hypocrite,” “liar” or “deceiver.” Jesus—Yeshuah—was always out front. He still is.

What took place with the enemies of Jews, some Christian ministers and even some who supported Israel is another story for another time. I must close for now with a bold request. Stay with me. Stand with us in prayer and support. I continue blowing the trumpet:

“THE CHURCH MUST STAND BY TE JEWS AND ISRAEL WITH UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

AND AS FOR THE JEWISH PEOPLE AND THE WORLD, JESUS—YESHUAH THE MESSIAH AND SAVIOR—IS ALIVE AND THE ONLY ANSWER TO

SINS FORGIVEN AND ETERNAL LIFE.”

People—good and bad—know I have not changed. Integrity gives credibility. We are being read, seen and heard. The war goes on. God’s victory is assured.
