The Action Report
They can't know if we don't tell!
By Frank Eiklor

Precious friend,

“Is there anyone in there?”, I asked the group of people watching a house burning, but not yet consumed in flames.

I did not know this would turn into one of the darkest days in my life.

Some years ago, a friend and I were taking a walk when we arrived at the fire. The fire department had not yet come. I don’t know why I believed it when I was told no one was inside. I’m still convinced I could have made it inside even for a few seconds. The house was consumed by the time firefighters extinguished it and checked it out. I was sick—shaken—shattered when they found a body inside. If only…

Later, it happened again.

This time I asked no questions as I charged through the house.

No humans inside—but I rescued one scared dog!

And I gained a lesson that I apply to this day.

Now I try to see every human being as if they are in a fire. Each is in a fire in the world that offers much sin and little hope. (That’s why suicide is now becoming epidemic.) Each soul is also in the “fire” of a physical body that can die at any moment—young or old, rich or poor, healthy or sick. Death offers no second chance.

So everywhere—on mission fields, across the USA, or across our neighborhoods, we live out—and call out to those we teach:

“Give every face you see in your day a word of hope and care.”

It may be as brief as “God bless you. You’re special to God,” or a fuller opportunity to give a testimony of what Christ has done for them and His love for those to whom they witness. That is how thousands encounter the living Savior.

Please pray for the army of spiritual firefighters we are training worldwide to obey God’s call to “strive to save others, snatching them out of the fire; on others take pity but with fear, loathing even the garment spotted by the flesh and polluted by their sensuality.” (Jude 23 Amplified Bible)

Great doors are opening to us to reach many thousands of lives through videos, the printed page and face to face teaching. I never plead or pressure, but I simply say that the team and I are praying for financial miracles to do more. Will you pray with us?

They can't know if we don't tell!

...Frank

Jesus said many would come in His name and deceive the hearts of the simple, sinful and proud. Eastern mysticism and meditation is a big thing in the gullible West. And one day a “world leader” will appear on the scene with the persuasion of a god and the heart of a devil. Jesus warns His children to know the Scriptures, live in obedience to the Father’s will, and stay alert to the signs of the times.
They laugh no more. Now God’s description of how He will destroy the old earth and create a new one makes perfect sense. The splitting of the atom turned many skeptics into believers. After all, look what man himself is capable of doing with the atom and hydrogen bombs. Now the fear is that nuclear weapons are being placed in the hands of madmen who wish to annihilate their enemies.
God has blessed man with incredible genius. We stand in awe as we watch men and women in a room full of computers and high-tech instruments guiding and landing spacecraft on distant planets. At that moment, we appear invincible. But then a mammoth tornado comes—or a terrifying hurricane—or rains that flood whole regions and never listen to our shouts to “Stop!”—or the shake that removes from under our feet any confidence or pride we carry, and leaves us numb with hardly enough breath to even utter the paralyzing word “EARTHQUAKE!”. And man is helpless in the face of it all!
