The Action Report The Present we Become By Frank Blessed Christmas dear friend, I have a ritual I preform every Christmas - not literal but spirtual. I get into a big box and stick a ribbon on top. Then a simpler prayer: "Here is my present for you, Father. It's me. I 'PRESENT' myself a living sacrifice to You. Make me holy and acceptable with a single focus this coming year - Your perfect will." Then it's back to work - or rather "God that works in you..." That means letting the Holy Spirit make us "walking 24/7 revivals" and seeing the fire spread one life at a time. And when you remind people you meet that each is unique and precious to God who made only one like him/her, the fire keep spreading. So while faithful intercessors pray for a "latter day revival," we challenge and train literally thousands (St. Paul School) to be a "today reival" on fire with the Holy Spirit.
Keep this work - please - in your prayers. We want to give our Lord thousands of new Christmas "presents" (new follower of Jesus) this month and in 2020. After all, look what man himself is capable of doing with the atom and hydrogen bombs. Now
the fear is that nuclear weapons are being placed in the hands of madmen who wish to annihilate
their enemies. God has blessed man with incredible genius. We stand in awe as we watch men and women in a room full of computers and high-tech instruments guiding and landing spacecraft on distant planets. At that moment, we appear invincible. But then a mammoth tornado comes—or a terrifying hurricane—or rains that flood whole regions and never listen to our shouts to “Stop!”—or the shake that removes from under our feet any confidence or pride we carry, and leaves us numb with hardly enough breath to even utter the paralyzing word “EARTHQUAKE!”. And man is helpless in the face of it all! |
