February 2007
Precious Friend,
“Are you still going around the world? When are you going to retire and take it easy like the rest of us?” My 62 year old Christian friend was serious!
For others, that’s ok with me. But for me—the assistant chief of sinners (Paul claimed the “chief of sinners” title)—retire?! From what? Giving my life for Jesus? Loving people? Standing by a lonely Israel? Taking the hope of Christ to a shattered world? Being an example of total commitment to young leaders? No way! Here’s a little of what’s happening.
- Our Internet ministry “St. Paul School of Leadership” now has over 4,000 students —young and older leaders worldwide. Our first goal is 10,000 followers of Jesus who cry for more than today’s insipid, lukewarm, half-dead Christianity. They’re out there—red, yellow, black, brown and white—and they are signing on to learn the true cost of walking with Christ. We send out two lessons free of charge every month.
- Now we’re planning daily three minute video clips on our web site. My teaching will be hard-hitting and to the point. There is a world out there wanting to know “Is God knowable?” “Is Jesus who He claimed to be?” “Is there more to life than mere existence?” We aim to offer answers and proof. More on this later when we have up-dated our web site and launched the action videos.
This month I leave again for Argentina to speak to thousands of young people. My message to them? “Let Jesus reach every area of your life and He will use you to reach every area of this world.” There is a spiritual tsunami breaking over Argentina. Pray for me!
Keep Israel in your prayer focus. Iran’s call to wipe the Jewish nation off the map is not idle talk. It’s devil talk. Those who are trapped in mere human and material thinking don’t get it. How can they? But there it is—in a book called the Bible that always proves God true even if every man proves a liar. God declares Himself as the hope of Israel. Yeshuah will be revealed for who he is—shockingly alive and utterly caring for those from whom He came. After Argentina, Israel is next—but always, “the Lord willing”.
Will you stand with us again this month? We go nowhere without the prayers and help of you and others. May the Spirit of God inspire you in your prayers and guide you in your giving.
Thanks for being there,
Frank Eiklor
