My Special Friend,
Each time I speak in New England, the memories come flooding back.
· Almost nine years spent in New England learning the meaning of unconditional love.
· Taking a stand against the nazi groups that wanted to terrorize Jewish people in Boston and beyond.
· Going to Germany and Austria when Jews were again feeling abandoned and alone.
· Being invited to the White House where I spoke at a briefing of the need to send clear signals against hate.
· Surprised when Jewish friends on the North Shore of Boston told me I would be meeting with Prime Minister Menachem Begin in Israel. And what a precious time that was as I shared my love for God and Israel with the great man.
· Our first training center in Keene, New Hampshire – 50 acres and 16 buildings that we purchased for $85,000 – and spent one year cleaning and fixing up so we could train an army of Christians to love Jesus, the Jews, Israel and the world.
Each Easter season those memories come back to my mind and heart as I speak at Christian Outreach in New Hampshire year after year. No one else can schedule me at that time – only Finnish Pastor Bob Hakala and his precious flock.
This year the place was packed to the full. When I gave the call to hold nothing back but to offer God heart, soul, mind and strength, the front of the church was filled with beautiful hearts coming to the resurrected Jesus. Young people, tough construction professionals, older folks – all with faces turned to the Lord and voices offering Him their lives!
Why does all this happen around the country and across the world? Because of folks who pray, care and give. You’re one of them on this team. May I ask you to help us this month as God leads you – and to keep the team and me in prayer.
Next month I’ll tell you some great things happening in Israel among the Jews and Arabs. God is on the move!
Thanks for your help,
Frank Eiklor
