The Action Report
January 2008

My Precious Friend,

My “son Timothy” and I have returned from Israel. This time it was the younger man, Christopher, who was sick the entire journey. He proved a real soldier, and his prayers and presence gave the older guy – me – the strength to preach and teach with power.

We ministered to believers across the north as well as bringing encouragement and help to the Israel Defense Forces. It took me some 20 journeys to Israel before being invited to enter a base on the Goal that is close to foreigners. The soldiers even gave us s demonstration of their prowess and firepower.

My challenge to Jewish believers in Jesus was the same I give around the world. “Don’t walk on eggshells. Walk and witness boldly. Live such lives of integrity that, if adversaries criticize you, your neighbors won’t believe them.”

I also encouraged them to be like their persecuted brethren in China who say: “We don’t follow signs and wonders. Signs and wonders follow us!” It is obviously not easy confessing Jesus (Yeshua in Israel). Followers of Jesus the Jew the Jew are a tiny minority. But their message is not weak – instead, it is found throughout the prophecies of the First Testament and is fulfilled in an awesomely alive Messiah. Parts of the messianic movement, like Christian denominations everywhere, are riddled with jealousy, envy, division, intrigue – in short, a terrible lack of love.

My challenge was to seek and receive from the Spirit of God a fiery baptism of unconditional love, first for each other and them for all. To pray for the sick. To cast our demons. To live out the whole Bible and let God be God and do what He wills and wants. Elijah’s God convinced others when it came to a demonstration of power. So will our Father honor the Son of God if we throw aside our doctrinal differences, extremes, and fears, and just obey His Word.

No believer in Israel could say “But you don’t understand persecution.” They know I have faced swastikas and threats from anti-Semites, opposition from Christians who claim God is finished with Jews and Israel, and some Jewish leaders who would dearly love me to be silent concerning Jesus. But if the truth sets men free – and we have the truth in Jesus – then we dare not be timei8d in both living and declare it!

Please keep this work in your prayers. The needs are great and your support is so needed. Your help this month would be a big lift to my heart and this ministry.

May God’s presence fill your 2008,

Frank Eiklor

I faced it all in the late 1970’s and 1980’s. We took our stand to awaken the Church to God’s heart for the Jews. God gave me a 4-fold charge to challenge Christians far and wide.
Yes, my thoughts had been many when that little bird fell helpless at my feet. I thought of Jewish eyes that had opened to see the loveliness of Jesus. But what about all of those who live and die without the revelation that the greatest Jew who ever lived has abolished death and guarantees life and immortality to all who trust Him?
The mission field is where people are. And people are everywhere...
