The Action Report God allowed my broken elbow so we could be here to reach these lives My special friend, I must ask you. Have you been going through intense battles-perhaps greater than ever before? Across But God is also doing something else. He is creating a supernatural thirst in those who love Him. God is going to pour out His Spirit in ways we have never experienced. He already is! And He is showing many His Glory-like He did to Moses. So set aside each day time for just you and God. You will begin to see Jesus' lovely face in every trial and battle. It just happened to us-again. Not long ago at Christmas time, my Norma fell on the ice and broke her elbow. The pain was horrific as we headed to Urgent Care. Three men also waited in the emergency room. Two were talking about their fishing exploits, so I joined in: "A group of guys were fishing all night and caught nothing. Someone came and told them to throw their net on the other side of the boat. They did, and wow, they struck it rich." "Yes," one of the three answered, "and the net didn't break." He was a Christian, so we kept talking. One of the other two said, "I'm backslidden. Pray for me to get back in God's Word." That left one, and he didn't want to be left out. We grasped hands as we prayed and he asked Christ to forgive his sins and change His life. Norma saw it all and later said, "God allowed my broken elbow so we could be here to reach these lives. It's worth it!" The mission field is everywhere. And every human being either knows the Lord-or needs to meet Him. So please keep praying for us.
