Mexican pastors & leaders minister in tough places; thirst for fresh fire & hunger for tough truth
You
read about all of the drug-related kidnappings, torture and killings (even
beheadings) happening across Mexico.
What you don't hear are all the prayers and pleadings from Mexican Christians
for God's power, favor and boldness in the face of daily dangers.
Another "great door of utterance" opened to the Shalom team, the dangerous capital city of Mexico.
A
group of God's shepherds challenged us: "Come over and help us!" So Shalom journeyed to teach intimacy with God and strategies for
evangelism.
They thirst for fresh
fire and hunger for tough truth...
These
Mexican pastors and leaders minister in tough places. They thirst for fresh
fire and hunger for tough truth. They can feel God's judgment beginning right
at the house of God (the Church). So we told them straight where the body of
Christ has broken the Father's heart and grieved the Holy Spirit. At the top of
the list is failure to pray for and love the Jewish people and nation of Israel. In
fact, many pastors have actually bought the devil's line that Israel is to
blame for Arab woes.
...the Father's heart
for Israel
must be in the heart of every believer.
Upon discovering biblical and actual facts, many are stunned and even repent from
hard, proud hearts. They learn-as I did many years ago-that the Father's heart
for Israel
must be in the heart of every believer. Any thing less eventually leads to
God's woodshed of chastisement.
Pray for a multiplication of the work in Mexico; that salvation would come to many
and the Church would awaken to a first love for Jesus. Thank you to all who have sent us to Mexico as your
ambassadors through your prayer and support.
As always, please continue to keep us in your prayers...
As always, please continue to keep us in your prayers. And as this report is being posted, we need a major lift in the
financial realm. Though funds have been down, our faith has been up. We follow
the One who says, "I'll point the way-you just obey!"
As other doors open, we'll go through. Come with us through your help.
Yours
for the cause that counts,
Frank
